SSV Robert C. Seamans

The Sea Education Association (SEA) brigantine, Robert C. Seamans, enters San Francisco Bay with deckhands high aloft. The 134 ft. steel-hull ship was built at JM Martinac shipbuilding in Tacoma, Washington, and is US Coast Guard certified as a sailing school vessel (SSV). At first glance, this appears to be a schooner, but the square rig on the foremast makes it a brigantine.
